Green Thumbs Up Gardening Series: Cedar Park – Tree Selection, Planting & Pruning

November 14, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Why are trees so valuable? Trees contribute to our environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate improvement, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.

Join us on November 7th or 14th for the Green Thumbs Up Gardening Series “Tree Selection, Planting, & Pruning” presented by Williamson County Master Gardeners Wayne Rhoden and Garry Bowman. Wayne and Garry will discuss selection of trees for Central Texas, proper planting, fertilization, watering and pruning.

Bring your family and learn how to take care of these amazing plants and why it is so important to do so! We hope to see you there!

The Green Thumbs Ups Series “Tree Selection, Planting, & Pruning” is free and open to the public and will be presented at the following locations and times:

Cedar Park Public Library, 550 Discovery Boulevard in Cedar Park
Thursday, November 14th from 7:00-8:00 pm
Round Rock Public Library, 216 E. Main St. in Round Rock
