Williamson County Family and Consumer Science offer programs to help your family raise children, housing and Environment, eating well, managing money, and all around staying healthy.  FCS also offers Better Living for Texans (BLT).

Here are some of the programs that are offered in Williamson County:

Walk Across Texas: an 8 week walking program that is done as a team or individual. Visit walkacrosstexas.tamu.edu for more information!

Step Up & Scale Down: this is a 12 week weight loss/weight management program. The program is set up for weekly meetings that last about 30-45 minutes and include a healthy snack! Dinner Tonight Healthy Cooking Schools: this is a large scale event with a minimum of (75+) participants. There will be 2-3 full menus (main dish, two side dishes and dessert) demonstrated. The cost is $25.00/person. This includes a goodie bag, recipe book and the opportunity to taste test the menus!
