Hands On In The Garden

May 27, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

When, What, Why? A Spotlight on Variety Experiments and Leveraging the Central Texas Conditions for Success in your next Garden

Central Texas offers unique temperature, soil and other challenges to gardeners. How do we know how, when and what will grow well? Join us May 27th at 10:00 am for a spotlight on experiments conducted on growing primocane blackberries and Russet potatoes in this area, each of which faced unique challenges. Come learn about those challenges, the results and how you can make the most of gardening in Central Texas. The when, what and how of central Texas gardening matters and we can help you understand why! Our speakers include Williamson County Horticulturist, Kate Hajda and Master Gardeners Dale Hill and Dana Drake.
