D8 Farm & Ranch CEU Seminar

A multi-county Farm and Ranch Seminar for farmers and ranchers conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Private Applicators License holders must obtain 15 hours of CEUs every five years to renew/recertify their license. This seminar will provide Private Applicators, Commercial and Noncommercial Applicators with the opportunity to receive up to eight (8) CEUs. Of the eight (8) hours, three (3) hours will be in General, two (2) hours in IPM, two (2) hours in Laws and Regulations and one (1) hour in Drift.

Join the fun on Tuesday, December 13 at the Bell County Extension Office located at 1605 N. Main St. in Belton. Judging begins at 10:00am and there will also be a one-hour educational program on pecan production presented by Extension Specialist Bill Ree. We hope to see you there!

• Choose appropriate age group: YOUTH (Age 8-18) and ADULT (Over 18)
• Bring your baked goodies, and $5 per entry to Project Registration and Check-in at the Williamson County AgriLife Extension Office Training Room located at 100 Wilco Way, Ste, AG205, Georgetown, Tx on Thursday, December 15, 2022, between 8:15am and noon.
• Pick up your projects and awards between 4 pm and 5:30pm.


Blackland Incove Growth

Blackland Income Growth (B.I.G.) Conference, which serves as a primer for farmers, ranchers and landowners looking to make preparations heading into the new production year and assists novice landowners with education and management practices. Throughout the day, attendees have the opportunity to take part in concurrent class sessions involving horticulture, beef, grain, cotton, wildlife and forage. Specialty sessions throughout the day will address land management, agriculture and health. The Rural Land Management session will cover topics on eminent domain, feral hog control and wildlife. Cow Calf Clinic

The Milam County Youth Exposition Building will be the location of the 2023 Central Texas Cow Calf-Clinic. Registration will begin at 7:30am with the program slated to begin at 8:00am. For 42 years Cattlemen in Central Texas have benefited from the quality research-based education this multi-county event provides.
