43rd Annual Central Texas Cow Calf Clinic

For 43 years Cattlemen in Central Texas have benefited from the quality research-based education this multi-county event provides, the seminar will offer 1-General CEU for renewal of your private applicator license.

Speakers and topics will include: “2023 Beef Cattle Market Update & What Can We Expect to Pay for Replacements” – Dr. Jason Johnson; “Pasture Restoration & Reestablishment Following Drought” – Dr. Vanessa Olson; “Planning for Extended Winters: Feed Alternatives, Barn and Equipment Preparations” – Dr. Ron Gill; “Herd Health Demonstration: What Needs to be Done, Why to Do It, and the Value it Adds” – Dr. Jason Cleere; “Meet the Vets: Veterinarian Panel Discussion Over VCPR, Antibiotic Use, Reproduction, and More”– Dr. Tommy Barton DVM, Dr. Trey Richter DVM, Dr. Jared Ranly DVM, and Dr. Eric Clemons DVM.

As in years past the Clinic will host an industry trade show with vendors such as Livestock Nutrition Center, Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Assn., Bimeda, Capital Farm Credit, Texas Brangus Assn., Croprotek Insurance, Texas Beef Council, Ag Southwest Crop & Rainfall Insurance, Classic Bank, Williamson County Tractor, and many more. Door prizes and special offers from these vendors will be drawn for at the conclusion of the day.
