$20

A grape, berry and fruit tree propagation workshop will be held online from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 5 on the Zoom platform.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service program is $20 per person, and registration is required. Deadline to register is Feb. 3.

Speakers will be Michael Cook, AgriLife Extension viticulture specialist, Denton, and Tim Hartman, AgriLife Extension horticulturist, Bryan-College Station

Cook said this annual workshop is filled with good information for people interested in learning more about getting off to a good start with fruit and nut crops. He said it is a very good time in the growing season to learn these skills.

“Join us as we discuss how to prune and propagate fruit and nut crops in North Texas,” Cook said. “This is a great opportunity for backyard gardeners as well as commercial farmers to brush up on their skills in pruning and plant propagation.”

The program will include opportunities for participants to ask questions, but the online program will be recorded and accessible to registrants at their convenience.
