Sorghum Symposium

February 18, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

$20.00

On Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 9 am – 12 pm, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will present the Sorghum Symposium 2021. This is a special, virtual program designed to educate our farming public about new developments and practical techniques to manage and market their sorghum crop. The recent surge in sorghum prices, driven primarily by foreign demand, has stimulated tremendous interest in growing sorghum.

In response to strong grower interest, we have assembled a preeminent team of experts from AgriLife Extension for this ONE-TIME EVENT, including the top Sorghum breeder, Lead Marketer, Plant Scientists and Agronomists.

If you are considering growing sorghum for the first time or expanding your acreage to take advantage of sorghum marketing opportunities, don’t miss this unique, valuable experience. You will hear the latest news regarding variety developments, marketing trends, diseases and insect pest management, new herbicide technologies, and take a look ahead to future breeding efforts and sorghum offerings.

As a bonus, the program provides for one IPM- CEU credit to apply to your Private Applicator Certification. The cost is $20 and you can register on our website, https://williamson.agrilife.org/
