On Saturday, December 29th, the topic for “Hands on in the Garden” is Composting with Master Gardener Tommy King. Tommy will talk about the composting process including setup, helpful tools and common problems with composting. Tommy has been a Master Gardener since 2014 and currently manages compost at his home and a local non-profit. Tommy has also completed the Master Gardener Compost Specialist training. Weather permitting, the presentation will be followed by a “hands on” portion in the demo garden compost.

The program will be held at the Texas A&M AgriLife training room located at 3151 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. “Hands on in the Garden” is free and open to the public.
