Williamson & Bell County Pecan Show

December 17, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Bell-Williamson County Show is an opportunity for any county resident with a pecan tree to learn more about pecans and compete for “bragging rights” for the best pecans in the county! The event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, at the Bell County Extension Office in Belton.

At 10:00 am show officials will begin processing the pecans, which includes cracking, weighing, and classifying so the judge can make evaluations. Judging begins at 11:00 am. A one-hour educational program by Bob Whitney about pecan production and issues with production will begin at noon. Viewing of the entries and awards will follow.

All Williamson County pecan entries must be received by 5:00 pm at the Williamson County Extension office at 100 Wilco Way Ste. AG201, Georgetown TX 78626 on December 16, to allow time for entry processing.
