Spring is here and weeds will be emerging in your rangeland shortly, so it is time to take your Private Pesticide Applicator Training. For the first time in many years, there are new herbicide active ingredients registered for weed control in pasture and rangelands. Some of the most effective weed control products must be applied very early in spring to small weeds, and in some instances even before weed seeds germinate. Note that a Private Applicator License will be required to purchase and/or apply RESTRICTED USE (RU) herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.

Private Pesticide Applicator Training for those needing to obtain their TDA license for the FIRST time are invited to attend. Our office will assist those producers or landowners who need to apply restricted use pesticides to their properties and must be trained and obtain a licensed to do so.
We provide all the necessary training instruction along with interactive Q&A time and printed materials to prepare you to take your private applicator exam.
