Private Applicator Training

The Williamson County AgriLife Extension office will offer in person Private Pesticide Applicator Training in our office to assist those interested in obtaining their TDA License. Those producers or land owners who apply restricted use pesticides to their properties must be trained and licensed to do so.
We provide all the necessary training instruction along with interactive Q&A time and printed materials to prepare you to take your private applicator exam.

You are invited to our All you Knead to Know Bread Baking workshop, brought you by the Williamson County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Cottage arts are experiencing a revival as individuals are becoming interested in taking a more hands-on approach to their food. Guest speakers will speak on all thing bread related.
• Judy Adkins, Texas Extension Education Association will perform a live dry yeast bread baking demonstration on loave we will try during the tasting portion of the program.
• Katie Sindac, Williamson County FCS Agent will show you how to create and maintain your own wild yeast starter, mill your own wheat flour, the health benefits of using whole grains in your baking and demonstrate adding veggies to quick breads for healthier but tasty options. She will share tips, tricks, and tools for baking successfully at home.
• Gary Pastushok, Williamson County Ag Agent will speak on the relationship between agriculture and your dinner table (Crop to Food). The science behind your bread.
The workshop will wrap up with tastings! You will have the opportunity to sample several types of yummy breads. Cost is $30 with includes: Live instruction demo, educational materials, and tasting loaves.
