The Field Day is FREE and will be held at our Texas A&M Stiles Research Farm, located near Thrall on Thursday July 22 at 1:00PM.
Dr. Calvin Trostle, our Texas A&M Agronomist and State Hemp Specialist from Lubbock, will be our special guest expert on-site and will formerly introduce you to the newest crop for Texas growers and discuss the merits of hemp production for your operation.
Fourteen hemp varieties originating from International Sources were provided to us for testing. The varieties include a selection of Fiber, Canabinoid (CBD), and Grain-hemp varieties. All varieties of hemp originate outside of our growing region. Replicated trials such as this will aid you in your decision to select the variety and hemp type for your own operation.
