The Milam County Youth Exposition Building will be the location of the 2023 Central Texas Cow Calf-Clinic. Registration will begin at 7:30am with the program slated to begin at 8:00am. For 42 years Cattlemen in Central Texas have benefited from the quality research-based education this multi-county event provides.

The Williamson County AgriLife Extension office will offer in person Private Pesticide Applicator Training in our office to assist those interested in obtaining their TDA License. Those producers or land owners who apply restricted use pesticides to their properties must be trained and licensed to do so. We provide all the necessary training instruction along with interactive Q&A time and printed materials to prepare you to take your private applicator exam.

Food Handlers Class

This 2-hour course will now be required for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. The certificate is good for 2 years and is valid anywhere in the State of Texas. The course is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure that safe food is served at your establishment. Practices discussed include good personal hygiene, cross contamination, and time and temperature abuse.
